Our Story
The Daily Bread Bakery was newly opened in March of 2026 and is privileged to serve the Barrhead community. It features homemade products including fresh bread and donuts, pastries and sandwiches. In addition to these goodies, a variety of Dutch imports, Dutch giftware, cheese, meat, and gluten free products are offered.
Thanks to partners like Global Reach Confections, The Daily Bread Bakery has been able to supply awesome products that customers love. The bakery’s name reflects a Christian background which shapes how the business is run, and the desire to serve.
The owners are Lukas and Tianna van Dyk, a young couple with a Dutch ancestry. They went to college for the baking trade and gained experience at a Dutch bakery in Edmonton, Dutch Delicious. They operate the bakery with a dedicated staff. Together a cozy, welcoming atmosphere is created where treats and fellowship are enjoyed.
