Our Story
Our story began in the late 1960’s as Maya Health Food Centre & Dutch Shop which stands as a beacon of health and wellness, enriched by the legacy of a family-owned, third-generation store.
We are rooted in a simple yet profound commitment to provide access to natural and healthful products. The Dutch immigrants which have a strong tendency to natural health, made it an easy transition to branch out into the establishment of a Dutch Section within the store confines. Through the dedication of our founders, we have flourished, embodying the dreams of the generations before us. 
From our humble beginnings as a small health-focused shop, we’ve grown under the stewardship of three generations, each adding their unique vision and passion for health. This evolution has transformed Maya Health Food Centre & Dutch Shop into a comprehensive wellness destination without losing sight of our core values and personal touch that our customers have come to know and love.
