Jeff
(Ontario)
Jeff joined Global Reach in 2015 and manages the Eastern Division of Global Reach Confections & More. Jeff was basically born in a Dutch store. Upon release from the hospital his parents put him in a crib in their Barrie store, Continental Specialties and never left.
Jeff brings 30+ years of retail and wholesale experience in the Dutch food business. Jeff is married with 2 sons and a daughter, Kees, Henk and Laura. He enjoys taking his kids to the park, spending time with his own brothers and goaltending.
Martin (Marty)
(British Columbia)
Marty joined the team in 2018 and is our Senior Account Manager for British Columbia and can often be found travelling Vancouver Island, The Okanagan, & Fraser Valley. Born in the Netherlands, He and his family immigrated to Canada in the late 60’s.
Marty worked in the automotive parts and supply industry for over 30 years as general manager of an auto parts chain, and also served several years in food distribution as a HACCP & Food Safe controller. His “happy places” are boating, camping, enjoying a good book, or listening to music.
Charlie
(Ontario)
Charlie joined the Global Reach team in 2020 and will assist in building sales for the Ontario marketplace.
Charlie is no stranger to the industry. Over the past 34 years he has serviced customers both in retail and wholesale in the Dutch Food industry. Through those years he’s established a solid reputation with clients.
Charlie was born and raised in Chatham, Ontario. A big sports fan, he enjoys golf in the summer, hockey in the winter, and follows the Raptors his favorite basketball team!
Our Office Support Team
Ron
Ron began at Lethbridge Food Market in 1998 stocking shelves and unloading trucks.
As a result his keen eye for logistics, inventory control, and warehouse operations made him a natural fit to head up our office team and assist our Purchasing Team
Reinier
Reinier immigrated from The Netherlands to Canada in 2005. Serving as a Logistic Supply Specialist in the Royal Dutch Army, including a NATO deployment to Bosnia, followed by 6 years retail-management with a large multinational retailer in Holland.
This gave Reinier the right background and experience to start his own Canadian retail business in 2006. Reinier joined our Global Reach team in 2017 as a Retail Development Coordinator and currently heads up our purchasing / importing team. Reinier enjoys traveling, and exploring the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
Ed
Ed’s family has been in the grocery industry in Lethbridge and southern Alberta for over 40 years. Ed got his start when he was 14 years old in 1973, working with his father after school in a family operated meat market. Over the years, together with his father and brothers, the family expanded their business to include other stores, and in 1995 Ed began Lethbridge Food Market, a wholesale distributor.
In 2010 he began a European importing company called Global Reach Confections & More, which merged with Hollshop Imports in Langley, BC.
Mary Ann & Irish
Mary Ann is the friendly voice on our office line and is always willing to assist a client with their queries! Mary Ann receives all our e-commerce orders, organizes the invoicing, and communicates with the warehouse on a daily basis to ensure all orders are processed as they arrive! She’ll also send out confirmation notices to our clients to let them know their goods are on the way!
Irish is in our accounts department and keeps things up to date making sure the bills are paid and the lights stay on! Irish is very proficient with our backend control, processes new accounts, and drives the numbers so they make “cents”

Anna’s son Artur is her love and life and she cherishes him above all else! She also enjoys the outdoors, experiencing nature and going on road trips.

Jayden
Warehouse Associate

Jayden is a born and raised true Albertan! He too loves the outdoors, being active playing sports, and also enjoys the great outdoors.

Nathaniel
Warehouse Team Leader
(Flamborough, ON)
Nathaniel joined Global Reach in 2018 and is a valued member of the “East” team! Nate was born in Hamilton, but his whole family is Jamaican.
Nate has multiple years of skilled machinery and sales. He is married and has a dog named “Yeezy”
His biggest passion is basketball where he coaches prep high school and he also plays in a men’s league.
Our warehouse crew is top notch and work very hard to ensure our customers are happy when they receive their orders! That means checking and double checking all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy, wrapping, and loading orders, and making sure customers get their product fresh, on time, and undamaged!
Canadian Law dictates that all imported foods require English nutrition labels / ingredients. Our hard working team of labellers are invaluable, spending all day on their feet to ensure Global Reach Confections & More stays compliant with the regulations!
The team works very well together, and brighten all our days with their songs and friendly chatter.
Heather
Team Leader
Heather started as a labeler and has worked her way to Labeling Team Supervisor. She enjoys being part of a supportive workplace that values its employees and has the flexibility to work shifts that fit her lifestyle.
Outside of work she enjoys camping, geocaching and being a new grandma.

Marlies
Team Leader
Marlies has been living in Airdrie with her family since 2011 after growing up in Aldergrove, BC followed by several years in Lethbridge, AB.
Working at Global Reach is a bit of “deja vu”, as for several years she labeled for a few hours after school days in high school when the company was previously Hollshop Imports in Langley, BC. She enjoys camping, hunting, puzzling, reading books and all kinds of crafts.
