Our Story
For more than 60 years, The Dutch Store in Clinton, Ontario has been a beloved destination for European foods and specialty products. Since June 15, 2009, the store has been proudly owned and operated by Tineke, who continues to build on its strong tradition of community connection and quality offerings.
Located at 55 Albert Street, the store is supported by a small, dedicated team including Mirjam, with Linda helping during busy periods. Together they create a welcoming environment that keeps customers returning year after year.
The Dutch Store offers a wide variety of products beyond European groceries. Customers can browse yarn for knitting and crocheting, giftware, jewellery, fresh baked goods, European-style meats, and authentic Dutch Gouda cheese. This unique mix of products has helped the store remain a special shopping destination in Huron County.
Many families have been shopping at The Dutch Store for generations, creating a strong sense of community and heritage. The store takes pride in offering specialty products that are difficult to find elsewhere, including unique imports supplied by Global Reach Confections. The strong support, excellent product selection, reliable fill rates, and dependable service provided by Global Reach Confections have helped strengthen the store’s ability to serve its customers and extend its reach within the community.
Through strong relationships, quality products, and a loyal customer base, The Dutch Store continues to thrive as a little piece of the Netherlands in Huron County.
